Buy Local Campaign
The Buy Local Campaign is a Nimbin Chamber of Commerce initiative launched in 2020.
The Campaign aims to:
Market the concept and benefits of buying locally.
Provide a recognizable mark of identification (Buy Nimbin logo) for locally owned businesses and products.
Provide a forum for communication between local businesses and producers & facilitate the exchange of local goods and services.
Develop a network of distribution for locally made products.
In order for local consumers (as well as visitors to the area) to confidently identify and support locally owned businesses, the Nimbin Chamber of Commerce offers Buy Local Nimbin signage and 'Made in Nimbin' products stickers for display.
We encourage local businesses, along with all other local enterprises to display the 'Buy Local Nimbin' logo. In doing so, local enterprises not only benefit from this marketing advantage but support their neighbours and community by giving the concept validity and value.
Businesses are encouraged (where possible) to consider stocking locally made products and using locally grown produce & raw materials to further strengthen a regional circular economy.
