The Open Day has been going since 2005. It is a great opportunity for the students at the Permaculture College Australia (PCA) to share the knowledge and skills that they’ve been learning with the wider community.Students come from all over Australia to gain vocational qualifications in permaculture in Nimbin. Andrew Anderson from Melbourne says that “Reconnecting with nature has been a real highlight of my permaculture studies at Djanbung Gardens.” Rachel Hunt, from Sydney, loves how “At Djanbung Gardens, people care and earth care come together and we are able to learn and grow in a practical and sustainable way.” Nadia came from the Atherton Tablelands for a year’s study and says that, “For me, being a student at Djanbung Gardens is a dip in the deep pool of sacred knowledge and has made me aware of my potential.”
So come on down to the Open Day, it’s free and open to all, hope to see you all there!
