Now in its seventh year Eat the Street returns to the Lismore CBD. After a turbulent couple of years due to COVID, the Eat the Street team is excited for what is sure to be an amazing event for the CBD. Eat the Street is a great promotion of the Lismore CBD and a showcase of not only Lismore's foodie culture but it's strong and eclectic community.
ABOUT THE EVENT
In 2022 the event will be held on Sunday 29 May from 11am-7pm in Lismore’s Central Business District (CBD) with the two main roads in the heart of the city closed to traffic and transformed into a sea of beautiful white marquees. The beautiful wide streets lined with heritage buildings and giant fig trees become the setting for a fabulous celebration of food, live entertainment, children's art, craft and cultural activities.
OPPORTUNITIES
With an event of this magnitude comes opportunity. The influx of visitors and locals to the Lismore CBD over the event provides an opportunity to showcase your business to a greater variety of potential customers. Many of the attendees to Eat the Street walk the Lismore CBD by way of traveling to and from the event or just taking a look around throughout the day.
Attendees to Eat the Street are not all locals either, the opportunity is there for businesses to showcase to a new audience by extending opening hours.
Promote and share. A media kit has been developed to give businesses the tools to easily promote the event. The kit contains information, images and branded artwork that can be used in social media, websites or print. The more people we can get promoting the event means more promotion of Lismore. Feel free to combine it with any special deals you might put on for the day or days leading up. Carrington Street (Near driveway to Woolworths to Larkin Lane) - 5am to Midnight Saturday 14 March.
Keen Street - Between Lismore Central Shopping Centre loading dock to Approx 30m north of magellan/keen St roundabout. 4pm Saturday 28 May to Midnight Sunday 29 May.
