Nimbin truly is a living art gallery! With more artisans than any village its size, Nimbin is a magnet for artists utilising a variety of modern and traditional mediums and techniques. Don’t miss the murals above the shop awnings, which play an important role in communicating the history and ongoing ethics and culture of the village. Experience local art on display on the street, or at the Nimbin Artists Gallery, who also curate two exhibitions during the year - the Spring Arts Exhibitions and the Artists Fair. A short drive north of Nimbin you will find the Blue Knob Art Gallery/Café with a regular exhibition program featuring local artists. They also host a wonderful ceramic studio offering classes.
